Eurofins' network of electrical and electronics (E&E) laboratories offers accredited testing, inspection and certification services for measurement, control & laboratory (MCL) equipment for compliance with European, US, Canadian and other global markets.

Eurofins E&E engineers have a great deal of experience in working with equipment of all sizes and our laboratories are specially equipped to be able to accommodate various types of measurement, control and laboratory equipment.

Accredited testing services include those for compliance with international generic and product specific standards and directives including, but not limited to:

Electrical Product Safety

Our accredited Electrical Safety testing for compliance with the Low Voltage Directive, 2014/35/EU includes IEC/EN 61010-1, and IEC/EN 61010-2-X which covers measurement, control and laboratory equipment for CE Marking.

We also offer CB scheme certification for global market access including the MET-Lab mark for access to North America and Canada.

Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)

Under the EMC Directive, 2014/30/EU, equipment for Measurement, Control and Laboratory Use are mainly covered by the EMC standards EN 61326, but others such as the multimedia standards and generic standards may apply. Your Eurofins E&E laboratory in Switzerland will be able to advise you on the most appropriate standards to certify your product for CE marking and other global certifications.
