Numerous anomalies revealed following the first checks on the French origin of food products

On 1st February, Bruno Le Maire, the French Minister for the Economy, Finance and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty, announced that 10,000 official checks would be carried out on food products to validate French origin. To date, more than 2,000 official checks have been carried out by the DGCCRF, with several hundred anomalies detected.
